Cookies and what is kept in your browser
Frunk.tv uses no advertising or analytics cookies, nor anyone else's. Everything it keeps in your browser serves what you ask of it, so there is nothing to accept when you arrive (article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002). Here is the full list. All of them are Frunk.tv's own: none from another company. They are technical, needed for what you ask for, and cannot be used to follow you.
What is kept in the browser
Frunk.tv has no accounts for the free part: what is yours stays in your browser (in its local storage and IndexedDB) and is not sent to the server.
- Your things: favourites, IPTV lists with their passwords, the games you upload, the Home background, where you are in each episode, and high scores.
- Settings: look, volume, language and country, which news you have seen and the like.
- Premium: the keys of your car or your device, which encrypt what is synced.
- Operation: a random identifier so a vote on Ideas counts once (the server only keeps a fingerprint that cannot be reversed), the diagnostic log you choose to send, and the data of a move or a backup in progress.
It lasts until you delete it. Everything goes from "Erase data" in Frunk.tv or by clearing the site's data in the browser.
Statistics
To know which sections are used, Frunk.tv counts visits with Umami, installed on its own server. It uses no cookies, does not store your IP and does not note which channel, station, podcast or list you open. It is not combined with anything or passed on, and it is deleted after 25 months. More in the privacy policy.
If your browser asks for "Do Not Track", nothing is counted. Otherwise you can turn it off here, in this browser:
Other sites
Frunk.tv loads no advertising, pixels or trackers from anyone. When you play a stream, open a news item or follow a link, the video, audio or page comes straight from its site (a broadcaster, an outlet, Telegram, Ojo de Lince…), and that site applies its own cookies and policy.
The Android app
The app uses no cookies and carries no statistics. What it keeps on the device is explained in the privacy policy.
